We are happy to announce a partnership with the Brooklyn Public Library! Uncover Church Avenue will now extend to the Flatbush Branch of the BPL. Starting in January 2012, UCA design submissions will be the focal point of a month-long exhibition at the venue. This will allow for greater visibility for artists, merchants, and everyone involved with the program. Check out the space below and start preparing your designs!
The deadline for UCA applications is Friday, Nov. 11th.
The Church Avenue BID is offering an Information Session on Monday, October 24th at 6 pm. Guests enjoyed music provided by NYCTrust and the opportunity to design your own mural for the Bonnies store front. Although these designs will not count as official submissions, we were greatly impressed by the talent of our guests. (See below for photos!)
The food and supplies for the evening were generously supplied by local businesses of Church Avenue. Thank you to Downtown Natural, Flatbush Latin Grill, Q Train Deli, Rekoda, 99 Cent Goal, Bobby’s, and La Huasteca for their delicious show of support for the program.
